Terms of Service
Last updated: 22 June 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the ReelDub app and related services (the “Service”). By downloading, accessing or using ReelDub, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service. The app itself is also licensed to you under Apple's standard end-user license agreement, as explained in section 6.
1. Who can use ReelDub
You must be old enough to form a binding contract and to consent to data processing in your jurisdiction. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you're authorized to accept these Terms for it.
2. Your content and rights
You keep all ownership of the videos and audio you bring to ReelDub (“Your Content”). You are responsible for Your Content, and you represent that:
- You own Your Content or have all rights and permissions needed to dub, modify and share it;
- You have consent from any identifiable people whose voice or likeness appears in it; and
- Your Content and your use of the dubbed output don't infringe anyone's rights or violate any law.
You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process Your Content solely to provide the Service to you — for example, to transcribe, translate and synthesize dubbed audio and return the result — including processing by the third-party AI providers that perform that work on our behalf. We don't claim ownership of Your Content, and this license ends when processing for your requested dub is complete, except for limited retention needed to provide and support the Service.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use ReelDub to:
- Clone, imitate or synthesize a person's voice or likeness without that person's consent;
- Create deceptive, misleading or impersonating media (including “deepfakes”) or content that omits a disclosure required by law for synthetic or AI-generated media;
- Infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity or other rights;
- Create unlawful, harassing, hateful, sexually exploitative, or otherwise harmful content; or
- Interfere with, reverse engineer, or attempt to abuse, circumvent or overload the Service or its usage limits.
You are solely responsible for obtaining any consent or license required for the voices, faces and material in Your Content, and for how you use the dubbed output.
4. AI-generated output
ReelDub uses automated transcription, translation and voice synthesis. Output may contain inaccuracies and may not perfectly match the original meaning, voice or timing. You're responsible for reviewing the dubbed result before you save, publish or share it, and for adding any AI/synthetic-media disclosure that applicable law requires.
5. Subscriptions, billing and cancellation
ReelDub is free to download and includes a free tier. Some quality levels and capacity are offered through paid, auto-renewing subscriptions sold and processed through the App Store. By purchasing, you agree to the following:
- What you get. Low-quality dubbing is unlimited on every tier, including the free tier. Medium- and High-quality dubbing are metered in minutes against your tier's monthly allowance, with no rollover of unused minutes. The free tier includes a one-time trial allowance of Medium and High minutes and does not renew. Current tiers, prices and included minutes are shown in the app before you buy and on the App Store.
- Watermark. Output created on the free tier includes a ReelDub watermark; removing it is a paid feature.
- Billing and auto-renewal. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Managing and cancelling. You can manage or cancel your subscription, and turn off auto-renewal, in your Apple ID account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not retroactively refund the current period.
- Price and plan changes. We may change prices, tiers or included allowances on a going-forward basis; where required, changes are subject to your consent through the App Store.
- Refunds. Purchases are handled by Apple, and refunds are subject to Apple's App Store policies. We generally cannot grant refunds directly for App Store purchases.
6. Software license (Apple's standard EULA)
The ReelDub application is licensed, not sold, to you. Your license to use the app is governed by Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Apple EULA”), available from Apple. These Terms supplement, and do not replace, the Apple EULA; if there is a conflict between these Terms and the Apple EULA regarding the licensed application itself, the Apple EULA controls for that license. You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and ReelDub only, not with Apple, that ReelDub (not Apple) is responsible for the app and its content, and that Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of the Apple EULA and may enforce it against you.
7. Third-party services and platforms
The Service relies on third-party AI providers to perform transcription, translation and voice synthesis, and runs on platforms (such as the App Store) that have their own terms. Your use of those platforms is governed by their agreements, and we're not responsible for third-party services outside our control.
8. Intellectual property and feedback
The Service, including the ReelDub app, brand, software and design, is owned by us and our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service. We reserve all rights not expressly granted. If you send us feedback or suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use them for any purpose without obligation to you.
9. Copyright and IP complaints
We respect intellectual-property rights. If you believe content processed through the Service infringes your rights, contact us at [email protected] with enough detail to identify the material and your rights. We may remove access to, or terminate the accounts of, users who infringe or who repeatedly infringe the rights of others.
10. Export and sanctions compliance
You represent that you are not located in, and will not use the Service from, a country or region subject to a comprehensive embargo, that you are not on any government denied-party or sanctions list, and that you will not use the Service in violation of any applicable export-control or sanctions laws.
11. Availability and changes
ReelDub is evolving. We may add, change, suspend or discontinue features, and we may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we'll update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, provide notice. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that output will be accurate or meet your expectations. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain disclaimers, so some of the above may not apply to you.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ReelDub and its suppliers won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from or related to your use of the Service. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amounts you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or US$50. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law (for example, for fraud, gross negligence, or death or personal injury caused by negligence), and nothing affects mandatory statutory rights you have as a consumer.
14. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless ReelDub and its suppliers from any claims, damages, liabilities and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from Your Content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.
15. Termination
You may stop using ReelDub at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that creates risk or legal exposure. On termination, the licenses you grant and that we grant end, except for terms that by their nature should survive (including content responsibility, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification and dispute resolution). Ending these Terms does not by itself cancel an App Store subscription — manage that in your Apple ID settings.
16. Dispute resolution
If you have a concern, please contact us first at [email protected] so we can try to resolve it informally and in good faith. If we can't resolve it, each of us may pursue the remedies available under applicable law. Nothing in this section limits any mandatory rights you have as a consumer or your ability to bring a matter in a forum that the law makes available to you.
17. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the Service and is part of these Terms.
18. General
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the Apple EULA, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service and supersede prior agreements on that subject. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision isn't a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. We aren't liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control. We may provide notices to you in the app, by email, or by posting on this site.
